May 2011 – ms Neumann Elektronik has been awarded with convincing technology the KPIZ project (Khalifa Port and Industrial Zone)
an important infrastructure for the Gulf region.
In Abu Dhabi, 80% of the import is seaborne. The new port KPIZ is located between Abu Dhabi and Dubai and will be the main port
of the emirate as of 2012. It will be able to ship up to 2 Mio. TEU (approx. 43,2 Mio. t).
ms Neumann Elektronik supplies the state of the art PA/VA system DS-6/TIMM for the new port. The modern IP-based system DS-6
ensures the PA and voice alarm of 120 buildings and outdoor areas. The open communication system TIMM provides an OPC interface,
which enables the integration into the SCADA system of the customers control centre.
April 2011 – ms Neumann Elektronik has been awarded the PA/GA contract for wide-area PA by Kentz at Halul Island in Qatar.
The company Kentz provides a modern IP-based integrated communication and security system for the island.
ms Neumann Elektronik provides the modern IP-based PA/GA (Public Address/General Alarm) and intercom system DS-6/TIMM and ensures
an interface with the other systems like CCTV, access control and perimeter intruder detection.
The new system also provides an interface to the existing fire and gas system and it allows the communication with the centralised
security Centre in Doha.
As storage and export facility, Halul Island, located around 100 km North East of the city of Doha, has formed a key part of the oil
and gas industry in Qatar.
December 2010 – ms Neumann Elektronik, leading supplier for information and safety solutions, has been awarded the contract for Paradip
by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. As an innovative solution provider for industrial communication and safety systems we equip the modern
refinery in Paradip, India, with the IP based Paging and PA/GA system DS-6/TIMM.
Paradip, located in the state Orissa at the east coast of India, is one of the most important regions for refineries, natural gas and
chemical production in India. Here, the latest refinery in India is being built.
Here, the innovative IP based Paging and PA/GA system DS-6/TIMM consists of 13 stations, which are connected with each other via
fibre optic with routing functions. Furthermore, the modern IP system provides an interface to the existing PABX as well as to the NTP Server.
November 2010 – ms Neumann Elektronik provides the innovative IP based PA/GA system
DS-6 and an emergency telephone system for the large-sized gas processing facilities Gassi Touil in Algeria.
Gassi Touil is located approximately 130 km south of Hassi Messaoud in middle of the desert Sahara in Algeria.
The modern IP based DS-6 system consists of 5 different stations and provides an interface to the fire and gas system.
In the high explosive area the safety of the system plays an important role. Accordingly, the outdoor loudspeakers and
flashing beacons will be installed in explosion-proofed version.
Furthermore, ms Neumann Elektronik provides the emergency telephone system with explosion-proofed telephones and a PC for failure monitoring.
In 2009, ms Neumann Elektronik had already awarded the contract for the Rhourde Nouss project, second largest gas producer in the southeast
of Algeria, with the innovative IP based PA/GA system DS-6.
